My card declined and they took the pizza box (with my two slices)back from me… tried again and it worked.. Maybe it’s their system or maybe the distance of the Apple Pay. Either way I was surprised, customer service and atmosphere are definitely 1/5 here…grumpy… no smiles…no warmth…. I can’t lie though pizza is 4/5 or 5/5… If you’re reading this, please try to work on customer service… you are making tons of money, try to greet your patrons in a welcoming way. If card declines don’t yank back the box with 2 slices. Relax…
To be honest, I’ve been to a lot of places in New York to have Italian food and in that category handmade specialty Pizza is one of my favorite Daniels pizzeria has the best pizza that I’ve personally ever had. By far, the best tasting crust by far the best pizza. If Pizza spots can get Michelin stars in my God, Daniel‘s pizzeria should be first in line. I am a chef myself, and I feel like there’s no reason my day is only have one restaurant when I go to New Jersey. I travel for the barrows and I would not mind having to Daniel‘s pizzeria in each Barrow. Hell, I would like having one where I’m from which is North Carolina all in all the Pizza brought me here to say this!
Got myself a white pizza with meatballs it was fresh hot, and crispy when I got here excellent
Conveniently by St. Peters hospital and open till 3am for anyone driving in from out of state. There was only one person there, so service was quick. The pizza was cheap. Not a dine in spot. Pizza is perfect for a late night college munchies. But if you're looking for that authentic pizza *HIT*, I wouldn't buy from here.

The local favorite earns its top recs—and if you’re chasing exceptional thin-crust pizza near Rutgers, Daniel’s Pizzeria should be your first stop.
Ran in to this spot couple nights ago when was craving cheese pizza. It’s more better when there tasty fresh out the oven. Was craving it again today order on door dash still amazing just not as hot but still yummy 😋
This place is a Rutgers College Ave staple! The staff was super nice and worked really quickly to get everyone’s orders taken care of. I love the online order option, it really helped keep the line moving. There is no seating inside but the steps next door seem like a common option to eat your slice. My pizza was piping hot and tasted pretty good. I got a large pepperoni pizza and my kids gave it a 7/10. I’ll definitely be back for a late night snack after a football game some time soon. I can’t wait to try the chicken and vodka sauce pizza.
This is a very very delicious pizza. It was a lot of pennies, but still worth every penny. Got chicken vodka pie and a tomato pie. Both were excellent. Thin crispy crust. The chicken vodka I especially recommend. Will hit this place up again next week.
